If there is no such thing as eternal life

i seek satisfaction, there is no food that fills me...i seek completeness, there is only brokenness... i listen to the old men, there is no wisdom... i look within myself, there is nothing that deserves respect... i tried working hard, i only became tired with nothing to show for it... i tried having ideals, there was only hypocrisy... though i have fooled my self again and again, every one of my pursuits has been in vain... This world we have created with Santa Claus and Superman and the little nerdy kid who over comes adversity its all a fantasy... Because when I close my eyes... there is no dream only more seconds passing. i journey from place to place there is no destination...Even though there is no destination... my journey started ending as soon as it began. There is only so much gas in the tank. I am slowly dying. It doesn't seem to matter where I go or what i do... they say i have an unhealthy attitude... what difference does it make? the say i need to have hope and believe in myself... no regrets... take risks... life your life to the fullest... they call me insane but mark my words... i am not the one who is out of touch with reality... I laugh at their hubris and their fantasy world... they see them selves as gods...when they are only men. they know it deep inside but the pain of reality is too much for them... they created this world and it kills them that there is no such thing as happiness... only pretending to be happy... there is no such thing as self actualization only self delusion... there is no such thing as complete... only the pretense of it... there is no such thing as authentic... only counterfeit... there is no such thing as beauty... everything we have we will lose, everything that is bright will grow dim, everything that brings joy will ultimately bring grief... there is no meaning in this world we have created.
